Keyssa Introduces Ron Richter as Vice President of Sales

Campbell, Calif.  – March 8, 2017 – Keyssa®, a leader in high-speed, contactless connectivity, today introduced Ron Richter as the company’s new vice president of sales. Richter comes to Keyssa from Crossbar, a memory solution provider, where he was responsible for licensing the company’s innovative technology.

“Ron has a strong history in partnering with large companies to introduce groundbreaking new technologies that provide customers with new features, functionality and differentiation,” said Eric Almgren, CEO of Keyssa. “He has over 20 years of sales, marketing and engineering experience in semiconductor and consumer electronics markets, having worked with ground-up startups and multi-billion dollar corporations.”

During his time at Crossbar, Richter was responsible for licensing the company’s breakthrough resistive RAM non-volatile memory technology. Prior to Crossbar, Richter ran worldwide consumer semiconductor sales at Zoran, IC product management at Texas Instruments and led business development and licensing for Silicon Image, where he was responsible for worldwide licensing revenue and product planning for mixed signal, imaging, and connectivity intellectual property products, including H.264 video decoders and image signal processors (ISP).

Richter started his career at IBM after receiving his BSEE in Digital Design and his MBA, both from the University of Southern California.
