Ajay Bhatt, Former Intel Fellow and Chief Architect, Joins Keyssa’s Advisory Board
Campbell, Calif. – September 7, 2016 – Keyssa®, a leader in high-speed, contactless connectivity, today announced Ajay Bhatt has joined its advisory board. Bhatt, a former Intel Fellow and recognized technologist and thought leader in platform and silicon level architectures, will lend his expertise in bringing new system architectures and protocols to market.

Bhatt has been on the forefront of the computer hardware industry for over 35 years. He has co-invented and spearheaded a number of notable technologies including; USB, Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP), PCI Express, Thunderbolt as well as the USB Type-C connector. Bhatt has secured over 132 U.S. and international patents and has been honored for numerous inventions. He won the Light of India Award in 2012 for his contributions in the advancement of science and technology, The Asian Award in 2013 for his outstanding achievement in science and technology, and the EU Inventor award in 2013 for his contributions to the development of USB. Bhatt has long-standing relationships with technical leaders throughout the computer industry and continues to look at the future needs of the industry.
